Sauteed Mushrooms with Fagiolini (Green Beans) is a delicious and healthy side dish. This is an easy recipe but there are a few tricks to follow to maintain the crunch in the green beans and at the same time cook it perfectly. Easy to make, and yummy too.

    Supplies:

  • • The Quattro or Primo Wood Burning Pizza Oven
  • Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet Pan
  •
    Notes:
    Preparing King Oyster Mushrooms

  • • To prepare king oyster mushrooms, only cut the hard, very firm or dirty ends. For cleaning, if your king oyster mushrooms are good in quality, only wash the ends. However if a whole cleaning is needed emotionally, quickly rinsing it in running water. Don’t soak the mushrooms!
  •
    Preparing Blue Oyster Mushrooms

  • • Wipe off the dirt with a damp paper towel or damp cloth if you find a lot of heavy residue on your mushrooms. Do not go too heavy with the water or the pressure, as you do not want to damage your mushrooms.
  •
How to Blanch Fagiolini (Green Beans)

  • • Snap off the stem ends by hand, or use kitchen scissors to snip off the stem ends.
  • • Grab a pot large enough to hold the green beans you plan to cook, and fill it with water. Salt the water and bring it to a rapid boil. Add the green beans and boil until bright green and tender crisp, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • • Remove from the boiling water and immediately plunge them into the ice bath to stop the cooking. Once completely cool, drain completely and pat dry
